The Wedding of Steven and Christine was one that I had been really looking forward too! When I spoke to Christine, she was a new mom planning her dream wedding! It was apparent from the start that we were going to work well together 🙂 Fast forward 6 months and here we were…..the big day!!!
The two of them exchanged vows at the beautiful Danversport Yacht Club in Danvers Massachusetts. Reception was in the Terrace Ballroom where the staff of the Yacht club did not disappoint! Room was beautifully decorated with custom centerpieces made by the bride herself, and the food was fabulous as always! DJ Dres was mixin’ it up with music from the 80’s to today keeping the dance floor hoping till the very end.
Enjoy this little sneak peek into their big day!
Congrats Again Stephen & Christine!
Thank You For Choosing JMK Portraits!
I had been looking forward to Chris & Krissy’s Wedding for some time now! It is always so much fun when I have a local couple. This wedding was by far one of my favorites! It focused on whats really important…..Love….Commitment….and Friendship!
Their ceremony took place in the same church I spent most of my teenage years growing up in; St. Bernards Church in Worcester MA (now known to some of you as Our Lady of Providence). After the ceremony, we then headed to St. John’s Cemetery. Why you ask??? Chris recently lost his father and so the family decided that they would share a little piece of the day with him. They had a beer with dad, snapped a few photos and then if was off to the Elks!
The last time I had been to the Elks for a wedding was a few years back and it had been dark out prior to us arriving. Little did I know just how beautiful the grounds were out back!!!!!! Gorgeous!!!! After we took advantage of that then it was time to go in and party with Josh from Jam Event DJs.
Congrats again you two!!!! Enjoy this little sneak peek.
Thank you For Choosing JMKPortraits!!!
A couple weeks ago Taylor and I were back in Sturbridge MA, but this time it was for a wedding at The Barn at Wight Farm. This place was stunning both inside and out! For those of you looking for a smaller rustic venue….. this should definitely be on your list to look at!
Kaitlyn and Greg had a beautiful day! We were incredibly lucky to be apart of it!
Enjoy this sneak peak into their big day!!!!
I am so excited to finally have this sneak peek up! Taylor and I had the privilege of heading back to Blue Hill Country Club for the wedding of Peter & Natalia! I am still blown away by the love that these two share! You can just see how much they are just head over heels for each other!
Natalia got ready at the country club and then headed over to the church with her dad in a beautiful antique car. What a beautiful church! Stained glass and exquisite details surrounded the two of them as they were joined together as one in god’s presence.
After the ceremony, it was back to Blue Hill Country club to celebrate!
Congrats Natalia & Peter!
Thank You for Choosing JMK Portraits to Capture Your Big Day!!!!!!
So while these two are having the times of their lives learning how to hula & exploring volcanos…maybe….:)….I wanted to share a little sneak peek from Charles & Lauren’s wedding last week at Shaker Hills Golf Club in Harvard MA. These two had such an incredible day! From their first look, to the last dance….these two couldn’t stop smiling!
I have to say as a photographer, it is pretty incredible when you can go to a wedding and have 3 or more of your PAST brides there as well, celebrating the newlyweds! Everyone had such a blast. The dance floor was full the entire night!
Congrats again to the new Mr. & Mrs. Spencer!!!!

On this Cinco de Mayo, I was at the first wedding venue I ever photographed ( almost 7 years ago!!!) …….The Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield Mass! It was a gorgeous day….one of the few this season, and Nicole & Mike were getting ready to see each other for the first time before they said I DO! It was beautiful. You could tell Mike was a little nervous, but once he saw Nicole in her stunning gown, I don’t think he ever stopped smiling. There are so many wonderful locations for photographs at this venue! From the rustic red barn to the open field, you couldn’t possibly find a bad spot.
Once they were done with formals, the guest arrived and they prepared for their big moment when they finally become husband and wife! These two were so goofy and fun to work with. From their vows, to their first dance, you couldn’t begin to guess what they were going to do next!
Once the formalities were over, it was time to party with Ellis Falls. The bride and groom had seen them up in Maine and loved then so much, they booked them for their reception! OMG these guys were fantastic! I really hope to see them in the future at more weddings….even though they typically play at venues up north.
Enjoy this little peak into Mike & Nicole’s big day!!!
Special Thanks to Meg at What Cheer Photo for helping second shoot this wedding while my back heals 🙂
I was hoping that by the beginning of April, we would have some warm weather , but I guess Mother Nature had other plans. Friday April 6 turned out to be a snowy day for Aby & Nick’s Wedding, but it didn’t stop them from having an incredible day! The two of them started their preparations at a nearby hotel and then myself and the girls headed over to The Barn at Gibbet Hill, so the girls could finish getting ready.
In order to have as much time to enjoy their cocktail hour, the bride and groom decided to have their first look and formals done prior to their ceremony. Unfortunately the snow started a little earlier so they decided to have their first look indoors. Once family formals were done, it cleared up and we were able to get outdoors for a few shots as well. Even with all that, we finished everything prior to the ceremony so Aby & Nick were able to join their guests for the entire cocktail hour. It was a blast! Amazing cocktails, appetizers and a spectacular photo booth.
These two had an incredible night! Tons of dancing with family and friends with an incredible glow stick send off for the two love birds!
Here is a little sneak peek into their incredible day!
Congratulations Again Aby & Nick!!
You know, there truly is no greater honor then having someone ask you to be their wedding photographer! Its even a little more special when it is someone you have know since you were a teenager!! This day I found myself heading out the door to capture Carla & Brian’s incredible day.
The day began at the Marriott’s Residence Inn located in Foxborough MA, where I met up with Carla and all of her stunning bridesmaids! Once all her final touches were complete, we headed off to the Lakeview Pavilion where the ceremony would take place in their stunning grand ballroom.
As soon as you walked in, you couldn’t help but stare at the exquisite swarovski crystals that hung directly from the windows where Brian & Carla would become husband and wife. Everything was perfect and as soon as Brian laid his eyes on his bride for the first time, I don’t think either one of them stoped smiling the entire night!
Marc & Josh from JAM Events once again kept the dance floor and Photo Booth moving right until the very end of the night! Always such a pleasure working with these guys!
I hope you all enjoy this sneak peek into the bride & groom’s beautiful day!
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Carroll!!!
