Wedding of Peter & Natalia-Blue Hill Country Club, Canton MA

I am so excited to finally have this sneak peek up! Taylor and I had the privilege of heading back to Blue Hill Country Club for the wedding of Peter & Natalia! I am still blown away by the love that these two share! You can just see how much they are just head over heels for each other!

Natalia got ready at the country club and then headed over to the church with her dad in a beautiful antique car. What a beautiful church! Stained glass and exquisite details surrounded the two of them as they were joined together as one in god’s presence.

After the ceremony, it was back to Blue Hill Country club to celebrate!

Congrats Natalia & Peter!

Thank You for Choosing JMK Portraits to Capture Your Big Day!!!!!!

Wedding of Lauren & Charles- Shaker Hills Golf Club Harvard MA

So while these two are having the times of their lives learning how to hula & exploring volcanos…maybe….:)….I wanted to share a little sneak peek from Charles & Lauren’s wedding last week at Shaker Hills Golf Club in Harvard MA. These two had such an incredible day! From their first look, to the last dance….these two couldn’t stop smiling!

I have to say as a photographer, it is pretty incredible when you can go to a wedding and have 3 or more of your PAST brides there as well, celebrating the newlyweds!  Everyone had such a blast. The dance floor was full the entire night!

Congrats again to the new Mr. & Mrs. Spencer!!!!

Wedding of Nicole & Mike- Salem Cross Inn, West Brookfield MA

On this Cinco de Mayo, I was at the first wedding venue I ever photographed ( almost 7 years ago!!!) …….The Salem Cross Inn in West Brookfield Mass! It was a gorgeous day….one of the few this season, and Nicole & Mike were getting ready to see each other for the first time before they said I DO! It was beautiful. You could tell Mike was a little nervous, but once he saw Nicole in her stunning gown, I don’t think he ever stopped smiling. There are so many wonderful locations for photographs at this venue! From the rustic red barn to the  open field, you couldn’t possibly find a bad spot.

Once they were done with formals, the guest arrived and they prepared for their big moment when they finally become husband and wife! These two were so goofy and fun to work with. From their vows, to their first dance, you couldn’t  begin to  guess what they were going to do next!

Once the formalities were over, it was time to party with Ellis Falls. The bride and groom had seen them up in Maine and loved then so much, they booked them for their reception! OMG these guys were fantastic! I really hope to see them in the future at more weddings….even though they typically play at venues up north.

Enjoy this little peak into Mike & Nicole’s big day!!!

Special Thanks to Meg at What Cheer Photo for helping second shoot this wedding while my back heals 🙂

Wedding of Aby and Nick- The Barn at Gibbet Hill in Groton MA

I was hoping that by the beginning of April, we would have some warm weather , but I guess Mother Nature had other plans. Friday April 6 turned out to be a snowy day for Aby & Nick’s Wedding, but it didn’t stop them from having an incredible day! The two of them started their preparations at a nearby hotel and then myself and the girls headed over to The Barn at Gibbet Hill, so the girls could finish getting ready.

In order to have as much time to enjoy their cocktail hour, the bride and groom decided to have their first look and formals done prior to their ceremony. Unfortunately the snow started a little earlier so they decided to have their first look indoors. Once family formals were done, it cleared up and we were able to get outdoors for a few shots as well. Even with all that, we finished everything prior to the ceremony so Aby & Nick were able to join their guests for the entire cocktail hour. It was a blast! Amazing cocktails, appetizers and a spectacular photo booth.

These two had an incredible night! Tons of dancing with family and friends with an incredible glow stick send off for the two love birds!

Here is a little sneak peek into their incredible day!

Congratulations Again Aby & Nick!!

Wedding of Carla & Brian- Lakeview Pavilion- Foxborough, MA

You know, there truly is no greater honor then having someone ask you to be their wedding photographer! Its even a little more special when it is someone you have know since you were a teenager!! This day I found myself heading out the door to capture Carla & Brian’s incredible day.

The day began at the Marriott’s Residence Inn located in Foxborough MA, where I met up with Carla and all of her stunning bridesmaids! Once all her final touches were complete, we headed off to the Lakeview Pavilion where the ceremony would take place in their stunning grand ballroom.

As soon as you walked in, you couldn’t help but stare at the exquisite swarovski crystals that hung directly from the windows where Brian & Carla would become husband and wife. Everything was perfect and as soon as Brian laid his eyes on his bride for the first time, I don’t think either one of them stoped smiling  the entire night!

Marc & Josh from JAM Events once again kept the dance floor and Photo Booth moving right until the very end of the night! Always such a pleasure working with these guys!

I hope you all enjoy this sneak peek into the bride & groom’s beautiful day!

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Carroll!!!

Wedding of Marissa & Kevin- Brookmeadow Country Club: Canton MA

2018 Wedding Season has officially begun! Last week I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Marissa and Kevin. With their 2 boys by their side, they exchanged vows at Holy Name Church in West Roxbury and set off to the amazing Brookmeadow Country Club  for their reception. It was a day filled with Love, Laughter and Family! I can not thank these two enough for letting JMK Portraits capture their special day!

Enjoy this little Sneak Peek 🙂

Wedding of Tom & Tina at The Blue Hill Country Club, Canton Massachusetts

This past July, Taylor and I had the opportunity to photograph Tom & Tina’s beautiful wedding at The Blue Hill Country Club in Canton Mass. The grounds of the club were nothing short of stunning and the staff couldn’t have been nicer!  The two of them decided on a first look to get all the jitters out prior to their ceremony and Taylor and I were able to finish a majority of their formals early enough so they could enjoy cocktail hour with their guests!

The two of them had an outdoor ceremony right on the beautiful championship golf course and then proceeded inside the clubhouse for their reception. The two of them danced the night away with family and friends. The day couldn’t have been more perfect!

Congrats Again Tom & Tina

Wedding Reception of Katie & Tavid: Shining Rock Golf Club-Northbridge Mass

When you are shooting weddings on a weekly basis, it is always such a nice change when you get to visit a new venue! Whats even more exciting…… is being the first photographer to capture a wedding day there!

Katie & Tavid decided to have a private ceremony and then formally celebrate with family and friends on their 6 month anniversary! The venue…….Shining Rock Golf Club in Northbridge Massachusetts. This golf course has not hosted brides in the past, but I hope that they will continue to offer their extraordinary services to those getting married in the future. Although their capacity is strictly for a smaller crowd, the grounds and the staff were like no-other in Central MA!

Katie and Tavid got ready on the property and then took all their formals prior to dinner and dancing. We visited multiple holes on the course and each one was prettier then the next. After the introductions and formal dances were over, a buffet dinner was served. There was dancing, a photo booth and even a candy & smores bar for those with a sweet tooth at the end of the night.

It was a dream to shoot here! The cooperation and coordination of the staff was truly what made this day go so smoothly and flawlessly.

Congrats again to the lucky couple and thank you for choosing JMK Portraits!

Enjoy this little sneak peek into their day.

Wedding of Danny & Meg- Spencer Country Inn- Spencer Mass

Is there really anything better when you fall in love with someone who loves the same things you do? Meghan & Danny not only share a love for hockey, but they met over a conversation about the Bruins. So……it was only fitting for the two of them to have a Bruins themed wedding!

Danny & Meg held their wedding at the beautiful Spencer Country Inn in Spencer Ma. Since their ceremony was going to be right before sunset, they decided to have a first look and take a majority of their photos before hand. It was safe to say that Meghan took Danny’s breath away when he saw her for the first time in her wedding dress.

After they exchanged vows and rings, the couple paraded down the isle as husband and wife under an arch of hockey sticks! With the little bit of sunlight left, we grabbed a few more photos and headed in for their reception where they partied the night away.

Meg & Danny……. Congrats again, and thank you so much for choosing JMK Portraits to Capture your Wedding Day!

Enjoy this little sneak peek 🙂

Wedding of Shelia & Marc- Cape Codder Resort & Spa-Hyannis Massachusetts

There is never a bad time to go to Cape Cod! This particular visit was for the wedding of Marc & Shelia! All week long we had been watching the weather to see if the rain was going to pass before their big day, and not only did it pass, they ended up with the most brilliant sunset!

These two decided to exchange vows on the nearby Keys Memorial Beach in Barnstable MA. Once the ceremony was over, we raced to get in as many photos as we could on the beach before the sun set and then headed back to the CapeCodder Resort to celebrate!

The best part about this wedding was all of the amazing attention to details! Rubber ducks surrounded everyone in memory of the brides grandfather! Her and her dad played catch instead of a traditional first dance and they ended the night with a toast to both grandparents that had previously passed. So much emotion and so much fun all wrapped up in one big day!

Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs!!!!

Enjoy this little sneak peek into their big day!
